Support services

These services are not usually public facing but help to make our systems and processes run effectively in the background. They include teams that:

  • manage and maintain the systems we use to store contact, assessment and review information 
  • manage budgets and financial payments for adult social care services 
  • support us to plan and monitor services, including collecting your feedback and using this to help us plan for the future 
  • work with providers to plan and commission services and monitor their effectiveness 
  • deliver transformation programmes that review and enhance the way we work to make us more efficient, or to bring in new ways of working 

A leadership team oversees the co-ordination and delivery of all adult social care activity, led by the director of adult social services.
