Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy
The Speech and Language Therapy Service will assess, diagnose and develop an individualised programme of care to maximise the communication potential of the children and young people referred to them and under their care.

Paediatric Occupational Therapy
The Occupational Therapy Service will assess and provide intervention, support and/or advice to children, young people and their families, where they have a disability or impairment which impacts on their performance and participation in activities of everyday life to help them to reach their full potential.

Physiotherapy
The service works closely with the child, family and MDT including the children’s physiotherapists in the Royal Bolton Hospital and the Neurodevelopmental physiotherapists in the community to identify the best package of support for a child or young person.

Audiology
The Paediatric Audiology Service supports Bolton children aged 0-16 (up to 19 if in full time education or have special educational needs) with hearing and vestibular (inner ear balance) difficulties.

Wheelchair Services
Bolton Wheelchair Service provides permanent wheelchairs for patients who are registered with a Bolton General Practitioner (GP), who have a physical disability affecting mobility that requires them to use a wheelchair for all their mobility needs.
