Emergency duty service (out of hours)
The Emergency Duty Team operate an emergency out of hours service for professionals and the general public in Bolton. The team consist of four social workers with one social worker on duty per shift. The emergency social worker works between 5pm and 9.00am Monday to Thursday and 24 hours at Weekends and Bank Holidays.
The Emergency Duty Social Worker offers an emergency service for children, adults, older people, mental health and homelessness. Routine enquiries will not be dealt with by the Emergency Duty Team.
