Starting a career in early years and child care
We work in partnership with the Start Well Service who support the early years workforce and other professionals to ensure the best possible start in life for every child.
Are you new to early years and childcare or would you like to be part of something big in Bolton by working with small children?
Working in early years and childcare is a unique and rewarding role as it’s all about helping babies and young children get the best possible start in life; watching them grow, learn, and flourish. Whether your interest is working in a nursery, a before and after school club, or becoming a childminder, you could make a big difference to our little people’s lives!

New Flixibilities for Childminders
DfE is working with Ofsted and childminder agencies and LAs to support implementation of the new flexibilities for childminders. One of them is a new category of childminder who will work entirely from non-domestic premises. Please view the New Flixibilities for Childminders webinar slides for more details.
