Public Health Bolton have commissioned ABL Health to deliver a free weight management service. The team will offer nutritional and activity support and advice, and investigate behavioural and psychological aspects and life circumstances linked to weight gain.
The service is available to Bolton residents aged 18 and over who have a BMI of above 25 (or above 23 for members of ethnic minority communities), up to a maximum BMI of 34.5.
All of the programmes on offer share a flexible approach to weight loss and offer group support, online sessions, phone appointments and digital support. They focus on sustainable changes that work well with your daily life to ensure that you maintain good health and energy.
