What can I put in my burgundy bin?
- foil and foil trays
- plastic bottles without lids
- tins and drinks cans
- aerosols
- glass bottles and jars without lids
Your bin will not be emptied if it contains other items.
All the plastics that we recycle from the burgundy bin are high grade.
Items such as bottle tops, yoghurt pots, tubs and trays are low grade plastics and we are currently unable to recycle these.
Carrier bags – we would encourage you to use bags for life and return to the shop to be exchanged when they reach the end of their life.
