Site cabins on a public highway

If you wish to place a site cabin or storage container on the public highway, a licence is required.

The application must be submitted and approved before the placement of a cabin or container.

You don’t need a permit to place a cabin on private land.

These prices are valid until 31 March 2025

Band A Non traffic-sensitive roads, i.e. side streets or roads, cul-de-sacs etc

Band B Traffic sensitive roads, i.e. main roads, side roads with traffic regulation orders in place

Band C Town Centres
