You will need a licence to place and store building materials on a public highway.
The application must be submitted and approved before the placement of the materials.
Whenever possible, you should put all building materials on private land. If you do this, you generally will not need a licence.

Band B Traffic sensitive roads, i.e. main roads, side roads with traffic regulation orders in place
- SC02 7 day licence (renewable) £44
Band C Town Centres
- SC03 7 day licence (renewable) £74
