Cancer screening

Who is eligible?

• Women Aged 50 up to their 71st birthday.  Every 3 years
• Women 71+ can self-refer.

How

•  At the appointment an X-ray will be completed 4 times 2 on each breast by a Female Mammographer.
• The screening will take about 30 minutes If you feel a lump on your breast or are worried about symptoms, please contact your GP, do not wait to be offered screening.
