Cancer screening

Who is eligible?

• Everyone aged 50/54 to 74 years old every 2 years,
• Screening is gradually being reduced to 50. You may get sent a screening kit before you turn 54
• Aged 75 or over can request screening by calling 0800 7076060.

How

The FIT kit will be sent to your address. This involves collecting a small sample of stool (Poo) on a small plastic stick and put into the small sample bottle and post it to the lab for testing in a pre-paid envelope.
