Bolton council's workshop provides free support to help local residents find sustainable, long term employment. We also offer help and support with skills, qualifications, and work experience. We are a highly motivated team who will work hard to help you achieve your goals.

How to Find Us
Arriving by Car
Bolton is easily accessible by road. Major routes into the town centre include the M61 and A666 from the north and south, and the A58 from Bury and Wigan.
Car parking is available close to The Workshop in Bolton town centre, including two hours free parking on Le Mans Crescent, opposite where The Workshop is located.
The closet multi-story car parks are the Octagon and Topp Way, which are both under 5 minutes walk away.
Arriving by Bus
Bolton Transport Interchange is a short 5-minute walk from The Workshop. The interchange is served by numerous bus services and providers from across Bolton. For more details, please visit www.tfgm.com
The workshop is located on Victoria Square, on the outside of Crompton Place Shopping Centre facing the town hall, next to Poundland.
Arriving by Train
The closest rail station is Bolton Train Station, which is location in Bolton transport interchange, 5 minutes walk for The Workshop. This station is served by numerous routes from across Greater Manchester and the north.

If you are on one of our programmes, we may be able to help cover some or all of your travel costs to our offices, job interviews and others (please make sure to bring your ticket/receipt).
We are also able to provide daily, weekly and monthly travel passes in advance.
