Bolton will fall silent on Tuesday, June 6 to remember those that lost their lives and all those affected by the attacks in London.
The silence will be held at 11am in Victoria Square, in remembrance of those killed and hurt by the attacks in London on Saturday evening.
A statement from Downing Street confirmed that the UK will be observing a minute’s silence on June 6, at 11am.
All residents are invited to come together in solidarity to remember those who have lost their lives and been affected by Saturday's attacks and to express sympathy with their families and loved ones.
Members of the public will be able to lay floral tributes on the town hall steps.
The silence will be attended by the Mayor of Bolton, the Leader of the Council, Elected Members and representatives of all faiths.
Flags will also remain at half-mast on Bolton’s civic buildings.
