Farnworth residents and businesses are being asked their views on the vision for the town's long term plan.

Fanrworth leisure centreIn recent years, funding has been secured that has enabled investment in Farnworth, including the Future High Street Fund and funding from the Greater Manchester Investment Fund.

This has seen the Leisure Centre being upgraded, new homes, shops, and a community hub at Farnworth Green, and street improvements, which started in April 2024.

Further funding has now been secured through the Long Term Plan for Towns programme which will see £20m invested in the town, spread over the next ten years.
