Bolton has been successful in round three of the government’s Levelling Up Fund, securing funding for projects to improve the town centre.
The borough is one of 55 areas to benefit from the latest round of funding, which focuses on projects which only narrowly missed out in round two.
Bolton’s round two bid aimed to deliver three key projects as part of the council’s broader work to regenerate the town centre.
The council is now working with the government to confirm the timetable and scope for the work that will be backed by this latest round of funding.
