Bolton Town of Culture – Culture Bolton

The Town of Culture programme was set up by Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, in 2019. Each year, towns across Greater Manchester are invited to bid to become Town of Culture to support local creative projects. We’re delighted to be awarded this accolade, and we’re really looking forward to hosting a programme of exciting new creative events and activities.
