Bolton Council is prepared to receive expressions of interest from community not-for-profit organisations based in Bolton, on acquiring via a long-term lease the property formerly known as Washacre Family Support Centre. The property is a two storey, detached, masonry built property, consisting of 19 rooms and located centrally within its own grounds. The property is thought to have been constructed circa 1950 and consists of cavity wall construction in red/ brown brickwork in a stretcher bond. The main timber framed gable roof is covered in interlocking double Roman tiles, with a bituminous felt covered flat roof to the single storey extension attached to Elevation 4. The property is provided with uPVC double glazed windows to all elevations with the external doors consisting of partially glazed timber units. The floor structure to the property consists of cast concrete to the ground floor and suspended timber to the first floor level. |
