A Green Summit for Greater Manchester will take place next month to inform a new environmental vision for the area and to draw up an Environment Charter.
It’s being organised by the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, in March 2018.
Listening Events are being held in Bolton and across Greater Manchester in the run-up to the summit. These events will bring people together to share and discuss ideas about what they want from a green, carbon neutral area and what they think needs to happen to achieve this.
Bolton’s Listening Event will be on Tuesday 13 February, 5-7pm, in the Lancaster Suite, The Albert Halls, Bolton Town Hall, and we want you to be there.
To attend, please register here ( http://bit.ly/2s2Lm27 places are limited). You can also be involved by completing the online survey at https://pollev.com/GreenSummit and have your say on social media to ensure that a broad range of residents and community groups have a voice.
Your views from the listening events and the online survey will help to develop the Environment Charter, and shape policy and action in Greater Manchester, which in turn will inform other key strategies.
