Registration has opened for the world’s biggest IRONKIDS and Night Run Bolton UK.
Both events are returning to Bolton next year as part of the IRONMAN 70.3 weekend and anyone who enters before Thursday, January 9 will save money with the Early Bird price.
Last year, over half the places for IRONKIDS were snapped up within two days and the event was ultimately almost completely sold out, despite extra places being released.
Every year the IRONMAN 70.3 weekend transforms the town centre across three days with thousands taking part and thousands more cheering them on.
Next year the fun returns earlier in the calendar than previously, with the events taking place in early June.
Night Run Bolton UK will open the weekend and takes place on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Up to 2,000 runners will take to the streets of the town centre and Queens Park, and with both a 5k and 10k route on offer there is something for every age and ability.
The following day, Saturday, June 7, Bolton’s children take centre stage for the world’s largest IRONKIDS, when up to 6,000 young people aged 3-16 take on the challenge of running 500m, 1000m or 1500m.
IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton rounds out the action on Sunday, June 8, with entries already on sale.
Bolton Council’s Executive Cabinet Member for Culture, Cllr Nadeem Ayub, said:
“Bolton’s IRONMAN 70.3 weekend is a spectacular family-friendly event that gets bigger every year.
“There is something for people of every age and fitness level, from young children to fun runners to dedicated amateur athletes.
“Our IRONKIDS is a great Bolton tradition that thousands of children have taken part in over almost 20 years and I encourage people not to miss out.”
