Residents now have more time to share their views on plans to redevelop land at Hulton Park.

Developers Peel L&P have submitted a revised planning application for the site which includes proposals for housing and a new golf course.

The public consultation phase of the planning process was due to end on October 16 but has now been extended to November 13.

Bolton Council’s Executive Cabinet Member for Strategic Housing and Planning, Cllr Toby Hewitt, said:

“We recognise the significant public interest in this proposal. Given the size and nature of the proposed development we have extended the consultation on this planning application.

“Public consultation is a vital part of the planning process and the feedback we receive helps inform decision making.

“I urge everyone who has not yet shared their views on the scheme to take advantage of the extension and have your say.”
