As a Commons Registration Authority, we have a responsibility under the Commons Act 2006 to maintain and keep up-to-date the register of common land and of town and village greens in Bolton.
The register is a statutory register open for inspection by any member of the public in the One Stop Shop in Bolton Town Hall. There is no charge for this service.
Alternatively you can apply for an official search of the register completing the for to Request a Con29 search and ticking Enquiry 22, Con29O Optional Enquiries, which relates to Common Land and Village Greens.
Usually a solicitor will fill this in and submit it to us although you can do this yourself. The form can be found on the Local land charges search webpage. The fee is £25.90 including VAT.
