Replacement licence to drive a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire vehicle - Taxi trade updates

The licensing team are now ready to issue your replacement licence to drive a hackney carriage/private hire vehicle. Over the next few weeks, you will receive an email that will have your replacement licence attached, and your replacement badge will follow in the post.

You are reminded that you are not permitted to drive a private hire vehicle (unless you currently hold a licence to drive a private hire vehicle) until your replacement licence and badge has been issued.

Upon each renewal of your licence to drive a hackney carriage vehicle, your eligibility to hold a dual licence will be verified by the licensing team.
