Have your say on Bolton Council’s budget plans for 2025 - 2027
Bolton Council are encouraging residents, businesses and stakeholders to have their say on the latest council budget proposals, which will determine how the local authority delivers services to the community.
On the 2nd of December the Cabinet agreed to consult on budget plans that would see a £25m shortfall in the Council’s overall budget. We are proposing to use £16.8m from our reserves, with the remaining £8.2m from increasing our income and making savings where we can.
Given the financial challenge facing the Council it is important that residents and stakeholders express their views to help guide and shape decisions.
The consultation period will run from the 3rd December 2024 until midday on Monday the 6th of January 2025.
