Description

Due to overrunning gas works, the resurfacing and drainage works on Radcliffe Road (between Lever Bridge Mills and Long Lane) have unfortunately had to be put back two weeks. They are now due to start week commencing 07 October 2024, taking approximately four weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Due to the nature of the works, it will be necessary to close Radcliffe Road (between Lever Bridge Mills and Long Lane) temporarily during the surfacing works. The road closure will be operation outside peak times, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Further details of any closures and diversion routes can be viewed online at:  www.bolton.gov.uk/trafficorders

Access to properties will be maintained, however there will be times during the works when access will be restricted. During the works can residents please keep Radcliffe Road clear of vehicles during the working day to enable the works to be undertaken. The contractor undertaking the works will advise residents nearer the time.

The Council would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused to local residents and road users, but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum. Your patience would be appreciated during this time
