Platt Lane Resurfacing

Carriageway patching on Platt Lane (Park Road - Wigan Boundary) is due to be undertaken. The works are due to start week commencing 12th August and will take approximately one week to complete, weather permitting.

Due to the nature of the works it will be necessary to close Platt Lane (Park Road - Wigan Boundary) temporarily during the surfacing works. Details of the road closure can be viewed online at:  www.bolton.gov.uk/trafficorders.

The road closure will be in place between 09.30am until 3.30pm weekdays.

Access to properties will be maintained, however there will be times during the works when access will be restricted. During the works can residents please keep the above roads clear of vehicles during the working day to enable the works to be undertaken. The contractor undertaking the works will advise residents nearer the time.

The Council would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused to local residents and road users, but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum. Your patience would be appreciated during this time.
