Smithills Dean Road (Deane Road – Moss Bank Way)

Highway improvements on Smithills Dean Road (Deane Road – Moss Bank Way) are due to commence on the Monday 5 August. The works will consist of:

• Carriageway resurfacing between Deene Road – Moss Bank Way
• Traffic Calming Upgrades

The works will take approximately three weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Due to the nature of the works, it will be necessary to close Smithills Dean Road temporarily during the surfacing works. Details of the road closure can be viewed online at:  www.bolton.gov.uk/trafficorders

Access to properties will be maintained, however there will be times during the works when access will be restricted.

During the works can residents please keep the above roads clear of vehicles during the working day to enable the works to be undertaken.
