Plodder Lane / Watergate Lane resurfacing

Carriageway resurfacing work on Plodder Lane and Watergate Lane is due to start week commencing 22 July 2024 and will take approximately six weeks to complete, weather permitting.

The main resurfacing works will be carried out at weekends with necessary drainage works taking place during the week outside of peak hours using temporary traffic lights.

The resurfacing of Plodder Lane will take place at weekends using temporary traffic lights. However to resurface Watergate Lane it will be necessary to close the road to all traffic over the weekend.

Access to properties will be maintained where possible, however there will be times during the works when access will be prohibited.

During the works can residents please keep the above roads clear of vehicles during the working day to enable the works to be undertaken.
