Turton Road / Darwen Road resurfacing

Carriageway resurfacing on Turton Road (Bradshaw Brow – Chapeltown Rd) and Darwen Road (Bromley Cross Road – Brierholme Avenue) is due to commence on the Monday 22nd of July.  The works will take approximately 4 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Due to the nature of the works, it will be necessary to close Turton Road and Darwen Road temporarily during the surfacing works. Details of the road closure can be viewed online at:  www.bolton.gov.uk/trafficorders.

Access to properties will be maintained, however there will be times during the works when access will be restricted. During the works can residents please keep the above roads clear of vehicles during the working day to enable the works to be undertaken. The contractor undertaking the works will advise residents nearer the time.

The Council would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused to local residents and road users, but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum. Your patience would be appreciated during this time.
