Private Hire and Hackney Carriage renewal applications

May we remind all licence holders to please submit renewal applications in good time with all supporting documentation required. This is to ensure there are no delays and your licences are issued before they expire.

Driver applications can be renewed 12 weeks before expiry and vehicles 8 week before expiry.

For any applications received after this period we cannot guarantee that the licence will be issued before expiry. Please do not contact the licensing team to chase any application submitted after this time as applications will be processed in order of receipt.
