Raikes Clough Footbridge Replacement

Footbridge replacement and accompanying foundation works on Raikes Clough Footbridge is due to be undertaken. The works are due to start Monday 22 April 2024 and the works will take approximately 18 weeks to complete, weather permitting.  

Due to the nature of the works, it will be necessary to close the Public Right of Way BOL 322 (Raikes Lane to Remploy Subway) temporarily during the works.  

Access to businesses will be maintained, however there may be short times during the works when access will be temporarily restricted.
