Reporting mechanism for taxi drivers to GMP - Taxi trade updates

Following recent anti social behaviour incidents in relation to missiles being thrown at licensed vehicles, Greater Manchester Police have requested we share below information regarding reporting incidents:

1. Ring 999 if you or your property is in immediate danger.
2. Report any incident or crime to the police that is not ongoing either via 101 or online, the hyperlink here will take your directly to the report it page https://www.gmp.police.uk/ro/report/.
3. Once you have done either of the above, you will have a reference number, send that reference number to the GMP WhatsApp number 07796705099, this will make sure we can get you an enhanced service from the police.
4. Please note the WhatsApp number is monitored by the police and if it used for anything other than sending through incident numbers it will be taken down.
