On the back of winning Greater Manchester’s Town of Culture 2024, we’re delighted to host a year-long programme of exciting new creative events and activities, kicking off with a full children’s summer programme!
The Town of Culture programme was set up by Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, in 2019. Each year, towns across Greater Manchester are invited to bid to become Town of Culture, to support local creative projects. We’re delighted to be awarded this accolade, and we’re really looking forward to hosting a year-long programme of exciting new creative events and activities.
