Special Free Screening of Franz Kafka’s ‘Before the Law’ at Bolton Central Library

In the centenary of Franz Kafka's death, Bolton joins international celebrations of his life and works by screening a new short film adaptation of his classic parable, 'Before the Law'.

From the producers of the critically acclaimed, multi-award winning Manchester feature film, ‘Nobody Loves You and You Don’t Deserve to Exist’ (2022), arrives a new short film adaptation of Franz Kafka's classic parable, 'Before the Law'. Shot throughout 2024, and produced with unwavering support from Bolton Council, the Rivington Heritage Trust, Bolton Central Library, and Bolton News, this is a unique opportunity to experience Franz Kafka on screen, as well as to learn about the creative filmmaking process in Bolton.
