Building control applications

The fees depend on the type of application you are submitting and the type of work you are doing.  If after looking at the fees you are still not sure of the cost please call us.

Full plans

• fees for domestic extensions and alterations
• fees for non-domestic buildings
• fees for new dwellings

Plan charge

This charge is payable at the time of submitting the application.  This is for checking the drawings and details meet building regulations.

Inspection charge

The inspection charge is payable after the first inspection. The applicant will be invoiced for the charge, which will cover the number of inspections considered reasonable and necessary for the work involved.

Building notices

There is no VAT attached to this charge

Other fees

Fees that are not covered by the fee notes are individually assessed.  Please call or email us with the details of the work so we can provide you with a fee.
